To be able to print to PDF file from any program, you could install cups-pdf, then add printer via system-admin-printing and select generic postcript (don't select the color postcript printer, it wont work) :
sudo apt-get install cups-pdf
If your company using CEPS (Cisco Enterprise Printer Server), you could configure it :
printer server : CEPS
and specify the queue, i.e. jakarta-hp4050 (consult to your printer administator for the correct printer name)
sudo apt-get install cups-pdf
